Refund Policy

Returns

We offer refunds on purchases up to 30 days after the purchase has occurred. Unfortunately, we cannot refund any purchases after the 30 days. 

To be eligible for a return on new items, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. For returns on used items, the same applies as it must be in the same condition that you received it in. 

Some items like magazines and gift cards cannot be returned. 

To complete your return, simply fill out a form on the 'Contact Us' page found under the 'About Us' tab on the main menu. When completing the form, ensure you include as much details about the product as possible including the transaction number and pictures of the current state of the product.

Alternatively, you can contact us via text or email. However, we will still ask you for all of the same information about the product. 

There are some instances where partial returns are given. These include:

Refunds on a break less than 24 hours before the break is to occur;

Partial or minimal damage to items. We do not return items that are completely damaged or opened. 

Some returns that occur after the 30 day transaction period. 

Refunds (if applicable)

Once you return your item to us for refund, we will inspect it to see if it is eligible for refund. 

If your item is eligible for refund, we will contact you via email detailing the approval of the refund and whether it is a full or partial refund. 

If your item is not eligible for refund, we will contact you via email detailing the reasons why, and we will send the item back to you. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

In some cases, your refunds may be late or not turn up at all. We will send all the information regarding the refund including the transaction numbers and proof of refund. There may be some issues with banks, so if you haven't received a refund, make sure to check your bank account continuously for a few more days. If it still has not returned to your bank account, then you will have to contact your bank.

Sale items (if applicable)

Sale items can also be refunded if the item is still in it's original condition. 

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at enquiries@gamebreakmarketplace.com

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

For interstate and overseas refunds and exchanges, this will affect the shipping time of these items. 

You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

GameBreak Marketplace uses Sendle and Australia Post as their shipping providers. 

Processing and Handling Fees

There is a 5% processing and handling fee on all applicable refunds.
